Diagnostic

Lesley is available to give you a diagnosis of your present level of singing, either in person or by sending her a short recording. Seeing her in person is always preferable because she can more fully share with you what she hears as your vocal strengths and weaknesses and the concepts you’re missing. She will also give you an idea of how she would work with you to level up your singing.

In fact, diagnosing strengths and weaknesses is what Lesley does in every moment of every lesson to keep you on track and moving forward. In your first lesson you will discuss this in more detail so you fully understand what she’s hearing and her vision for where you might direct your attention should you decide to move forward. In that first lesson, you will address all the major issues and leave with a good idea of what she can offer you, personally.

Establishing a common vocabulary is also important so things remain clear. You won’t ever have to second-guess what she’s communicating or asking of you. It will be crystal clear. If you don’t understand something, ask questions. Lesley loves questions.

Deciding to move forward is a personal choice. Only you can decide if Lesley’s approach is a good fit for you. However, you can get a general idea of her methodology and approach to singing by exploring the website. There are fifty-two pages to discover. Happy reading.
